Modeled after the classical orchestral tango and attributed with all stylistic, musical and technical refinements to a demanding piano trio, this composition stands out as a remarkably interesting contribution to the tango avant-garde.

With this through-composed tango modification, with a melodic line that catches the ear, a rhythm that you have to have in your bones, the Russian-born composer, now working in Essen, gives three stylistically confident musicians a witty, serious concert interlude or encore of just four minutes.
